Oldemors fine blå stel klarede turen gennem de syv have.
It's very good to get help with the heavy work of carrying all the boxes and furniture into the house. The main tasks however is still our own - the task of unpacking boxes.
The past few weeks I have found myself like this (picture 1) - behind piles of paper.
All our stuff have been properly wrapped in several sheets of white paper. Everything was packed, even the the lime green watering can stuffed with the remaining soap flakes, and an old glass (picture 3 and 4)- yes how would you be able to live without it ;-).
We had to laugh of how thorough everything was wrapped. We found a plastic cover and a bubble envelope, nicely wrapped in layers of white protection.
However thoroughness pays off. Only minor things were broken and we were happy to see that great-grandmothers fine old china (picture 5) managed the trip down here.
To empty the boxes with glass and china went fairly quick - it'll be a completely different story emptying the boxes containing "hobby stuff"
